Tuesdays 7pm: Technique and choreography with Fereshta. Have fun while exploring different bellydance styles and choreography. Fereshta will guide you through your dance journey, and over the year will cover technique using veils, zills, canes and more. 2010 classes commence Tuesday 2 February. Also look for daytime classes with Fereshta on Thursdays commencing 21 January. NEW daytime fitness class: Bellyshape with Fereshta - continuous dance to get your heart going, followed by relaxing stretches. It's so much fun, you won't know you're exercising! |
Always wanted to learn zills but don't know where to start? Jilyan's open level classes incorporate zill practice to get you making beautiful music with your dance. These classes will include zillwork, technique and musicality, as well as learning choreographies. Thursday 6.30pm commencing 11 February and Saturday 2.00pm commencing 13 February. Troupe training for Hip Infinity is also held on Saturday afternoons. Hip Infinity is a troupe where dancers of varying levels can work to achieve their personal best. We perform at fairs, fetes and community events and aim to present bellydance as a serious artform with a light-hearted approach. |
Wednesdays: Intermediate with Rose. Are you ready to extend your dance and performance skills? This class is for you. Take the next step literally into understanding the essence of belly dance - Choreography, technique, and musicality. |
Wednesdays: Performance Essentials - Advanced with Rose. This is a unique class catering for those who wish to challenge themselves and take their dancing to a new breathtaking level. Dynamic yet workable choreographies that can be applied to any situation - Haflas, concerts, restaurants etc. Or just simply strengthen your technique and develop confidence in your own dancing. Interested in extending even more? Rose runs an invitation-only daytime advanced plus class on Wednesday mornings. Contact Rose to find out more about this very challenging class. |
Mondays 6pm: Core Moves & Concepts: Putting it All Together with Min. A progressive level class to consolidate & expand core moves and refine technique while creating fun, full-length Bellydance routines. Guaranteed to increase your confidence! 2010 Classes commence Monday 11 January. |
Bellydance Bootie Camp with Rose ... Funny name: serious results. This course features specific exercises using dumbbells, fitballs, and therabands that will improve and build strength, core stability, postural awareness and flexibility to help maximise and enhance your belly dancing and decrease risk of injury. |
